Leading 10year established online gaming company needs a BI Developer/Architect who can report in to the Head of Development and initially review what the business needs are with a view to architecting a new Datawarehouse and then fulfilling the ongoing needs of the business. The true Intelligence part of the role comes in assisting the business with adhoc queries providing data to support or disprove future plans or promotions.

JOB SUMMARY

The role will incorporate the following responsibilities:

• Re-architecting, data standardisation and rolling out of a self-service web and mobile compatible platform.
• Working closely with business process owners, the developers, end users and gaming platform providers to help define the requirements.
• As part of a small, but potentially growing Business Intelligence (BI) team, Architect and facilitate the new platform.
• Additionally it will be required to help define and comply with data quality requirements, as well as facilitate market specific and industry policies and procedures.

TECHNICALLY SKILLS

• Design and develop SSRS reports, as well as provide ad-hoc data extracts.
• Development of T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Design, develop SSAS cubes and reports.
• Datawarehouse maintenance and development.
• Database application support and maintenance.

Proven ability:

• 3+ years In Business Intelligence development with SQL Server 2005/8.
• Advanced T-SQL Scripting and stored procedures.
• Performance tuning queries.
• Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS).
• Performance Tuning.

Desirable:

• .NET Programming.
• SQL Agent.
• Database application development.
• Knowledge of Redgate software (especially Source Control and SQL Compare).
• A knowledge and passion for online gaming.

• Ability to construct queries/conduct in-depth data analysis to assist in validating technical specifications and investigate data issues identified by end users and/or the Business Intelligence team
• Educated to degree level 3-4 years’ experience in technology field – preferably information/data management systems

The successful Digital Project Manager will be suited to a high pressure environment and will likely come from an Agency and from a similar position of leadership.

The role itself:

The position of Lead Digital Project Manager is very much hands-on as a Project Manager, and will require you to not only run your own digital projects, but oversee and take responsibility for the delivery of others.  This is a senior role that would suit a robust and resilient candidate, but uniquely, our client also expects the Project Manager to handle aspects of Usability in the absence of stand alone IA’s, and so experience of Usability and how to digitise the User Journey will also be handy.  This is a full life cycle role that will see you involved from project inception, project brief, rate negotiation, resource planning and of course project delivery.
